Salinas Badge Design History

This was one of the first designs I released when I started this T-shirt business back in January of 2019. It encompasses the world famous fields of the Salinas Valley along with the mountain range on the eastern side of the valley, Fremont's Peak. I also wanted to include our city's motto which is "The Salad Bowl of the World" within the design.  I also chose to use this color palette to highlight our green area and using a dark tone of the both the sky blue and the green of the fields to get a contrasting dark tone to emphasize the highlights within the design. This designs also is inspired by the shape that soccer logos or emblems are created, which in fact is one of the most popular activities in the city amongst its residents.  I can see this design used by a Salinas represented team.
