The black mamba is one of the deadliest land creatures on earth. The quickness of this creature caught my attention when designing this artwork. I've always liked the colors of dark blue, yellow and black and the nice color combination it creates. This was the perfect choice for this design.
This design started with some research into what qualities make the Black Mamba, a Black Mamba. I started thinking of the way snakes in general attack, this design looks as if the Black Mamba is coming at you or getting into position to come towards you.
